Content Aggregator Status
MagPunk is an automatic content aggregator and reader app whose function resembles a web browser. MagPunk is in no way a content producer, publisher, or host. The app merely reads and lists data from public RSS feeds added by the user themselves or found in the default embedded curated catalog (435 sources).
Copyright and Property Rights
The property and copyright of the titles, summaries, and images of all content displayed in the app belong entirely to the original publishers. MagPunk does not claim ownership of any content it lists and always provides a clear link to the original source of every content included in the app.
Content Storage and Summary Limit
No content read in the app is hosted, aggregated on a centralized server of MagPunk, or republished in a centralized structure. All reading and classification operations take place temporarily and directly on the user’s own device, and the content is stored only on the device. The summary texts displayed are limited to only the first part of the content (approximately 60 words) in accordance with the principle of fair use. Any user wishing to read the full text is directed straight to the relevant page of the original source.
Takedown Requests
If a publisher does not want the public RSS feed they publish to be included in MagPunk’s curated default catalog, they can apply to us at contact@magpunk.com. The requests made are processed as soon as possible, and the relevant feed is completely removed from the default source catalog. However, since MagPunk is a neutral reader, the display of public feeds added by a user to their personal reading list via URL address is entirely subject to that user’s personal control and preference.
